A vault entry is more than a name in a list. It is the exact printing the scanner matched, the condition grade it estimated, and the value range with the eBay sales behind it, refreshed when you reopen the card.
A total built on current evidence
The vault total is the sum of each card's value range. Reopen any card and CardLens refreshes the market evidence behind it, so the total is built on this month's sales rather than the day you added the card.
A wishlist and a public page
Add the cards you are chasing to a wishlist. Turn on a public profile and your featured cards and wishlist appear at cardlens.app/yourhandle, a page you can send to a trading partner or put in a bio.
How the tracker works
Built around the scan
The slow part of tracking a collection is data entry. CardLens removes it by making the scan the way in: one photo, one match, one save.
Adding cards
Scan a card and it is matched to the exact printing, graded, and priced. Save it and it is in the vault with all three facts attached. You can also browse the catalog by game inside the app when you want to see what a set contains.
Because the match names the printing, the vault never has to ask you which Charizard you meant.
Value you can trace
Each card's value is a range anchored to recent eBay sales of the same printing wherever the market has them, and the sales are visible in the app. The vault total is honest in the same way: a sum of ranges, with the evidence for each one a tap away.
Reopen a saved card and CardLens refreshes the evidence behind it, so an older save reflects newer sales.
Graded cards in the same vault
Slabs are matched by their label, so a PSA 10 sits in the vault as a PSA 10 with its grade recorded, next to the raw copies of the same card. A collection that mixes raw and graded cards is tracked without a separate list for each.
The public collector page
A public profile is a read-only page at cardlens.app followed by your handle. It shows what you choose: your display name, a bio and link if you add them, your collection count, the cards you feature, and your public wishlist.
It is the simplest way to show a binder to someone who is not in the room.
